Sachiko approaches her work with curiosity, care, and an eye for continuous improvement. As the lead Program Manager at ThinkDev, she manages client communications and supports seamless program delivery, ensuring exceptional service for clients. At ThinkDev, Sachiko has found her Ikigai, her true calling, the intersection of passion, mission, and profession. She practices Kaizen, consistently seeking ways to improve, one step at a time.

With over 20 years of experience in education, Sachiko thrives on turning something strong into something exceptional. Curiosity is her superpower, and she embraces lifelong learning. She delights in mindful moments, savoring new perspectives and finding deep satisfaction in personal growth. Creating effective programs and processes that help teams and clients succeed brings her a deep sense of fulfillment.

Born and raised near Tokyo, Japan, Sachiko came to the U.S. at 21 to broaden her worldview and earned a bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from UC Davis. After returning to Japan in 2008 and living in a scenic rural village in Central Japan, she moved back to California in 2014. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Northern California hiking trails and experimenting with home cooking, including making fermented foods like kimchi, miso, and natto. She is also a Leadership Sacramento 2025 alumna (#BCE).
